“The Lord is not just our problem solver; He is our everything, and we need to relate to Him that way.

Joyce Meyer

“There is nothing impossible to him who will try. Alexander the Great”

“If you love Me, you will obey Me” (see John 14:21). To say “I love Jesus” and walk in disobedience is deception. Words are wonderful, but a full love walk must be much more than words.”

Joyce Meyer

“And whatever you ask for in prayer, having faith and [really] believing, you will receive. MATTHEW 21:22”

Joyce Meyer

“There are no drive-thru breakthroughs. Breakthroughs take time.”

Joyce Meyer

“Real love has little to do with gooey emotions and goose bumps; and it has everything to do with the choices we make about the way we treat people.”

Joyce Meyer

“We need to be enthusiastic! Too many of us walk around with long faces looking and feeling worn-out. But the human heart was made for passion, for strong desire to reach for something beyond ourselves.”

Joyce Meyer

“We can get excited by thinking about what all we have or can have, OR we can get discouraged by thinking about what all we don't have.”

Joyce Meyer

“nor how to offer it worthily as we ought, but the Spirit Himself goes to meet our supplication and pleads in”

Joyce Meyer

“The Lord God is my Strength, my personal bravery, and my invincible army; He makes my feet like hinds’ feet and will make me to walk [not to stand still in terror, but to walk] and make [spiritual] progress upon my high places [of trouble, suffering, or responsibility]! HABAKKUK 3:19”

Joyce Meyer

“It is tormenting to live life with a burden of guilt. Jesus bore our sins and the guilt associated with them, and in reality, once we have received forgiveness for any sin we have committed, there is no longer any guilt. When sin goes, guilt goes with it. Jesus not only forgives sin, He removes it completely. He remembers it no more, and to Him, it is as if it never happened. When we feel guilt after we have confessed and repented of a sin, we should tell the feeling that it is a lie. Don’t let your feelings be the ruling factor in your life. The Bible says that we are justified in Christ, and I heard one theologian say that means that we stand before God just as if we had never sinned. Even if our feelings can’t believe it, we can choose to live beyond our feelings and we can honor God’s Word above how we feel. If we make right choices according to the Word of God, our feelings will eventually come in line with our good choices.”

Joyce Meyer

“There is a simple rule we can follow to guide us in our conversation: If it is good, uplifting, wholesome, and pleasant, say all you want to, but if it is evil, negative, critical, and complaining, then don’t say it. Ask God to change your heart so there is not even a hint of wanting to say it. What is in our heart will eventually come out of our mouth, so we cannot change what we say unless we change what we think.”

Joyce Meyer

“We must meditate on what God has done in our life instead of what we are still waiting on Him to do.”

Joyce Meyer

“Worship is much more than just singing songs. In fact, true worship is first and foremost a condition of heart and a state of mind. We can be worshipping passionately without singing a single note. Worship is born in our hearts; it fills our thoughts and then it is expressed through our mouths and through our bodies. If our hearts are filled with awe for God, we may want to sing, dance, clap, or lift up our hands in worship. We may also be reverently silent and still before God. We may desire to give offerings or offer other forms of outward expression of love for God. But any of these actions done without a right heart are simply formalism and meaningless to God.”

Joyce Meyer

“Patience is not simply the ability to wait - it's how we behave while we're waiting.”

Joyce Meyer
