“A life devoted to things is a dead life, a stump; a God-shaped life is a flourishing tree. PROVERBS 11:28”

Rick Warren

“When God puts his Spirit inside you, your body becomes a temple of God, a residence for his love. So let me ask you this: If you saw someone vandalizing or damaging a temple dedicated to God, wouldn’t you consider that a crime? Of course! But you abuse and vandalize God’s temple, your body, when you deprive it of rest and sleep, overeat, put too much stress on it, and fail to take care of it.”

Rick Warren

“Nothing will change permanently until you dig down to the bedrock of truth about your life and God’s purpose for it.”

Rick Warren

“While we worry about how fast we grow, God is concerned about how strong we grow. God views our lives from and for eternity, so he is never in a hurry.”

Rick Warren

“Great opportunities may come once in a lifetime, but small opportunities surround us every day.”

Rick Warren

“You may have had so many failures at changing the way you eat or exercise or think or act that the possibility of lasting change feels like an unreachable goal. Well, to be honest with you, it probably will be — unless you plug into God’s power. What is impossible from a human standpoint is easy to God. With God, today’s impossibility is tomorrow’s miracle.”

Rick Warren

“If there were no God, and everything was a result of random chance, there would be no purpose to your life. It all starts with God.”

Rick Warren

“Envy asks, “Why them? Why do they get what I don’t have?” Gratitude asks, “Why me? Why do I get all that I have?”

Rick Warren

“we are product of our past but we don't have to be prisoners of it.”

Rick Warren

“Cruciferous vegetables are the super detoxification foods.”

Rick Warren

“God is always more interested in why we do something than in what we do. Attitudes count more than achievements.”

Rick Warren

“Self-worth and net worth are not the same.”

Rick Warren

“What positive changes in your life could happen if you relied on God’s unlimited power instead of your limited willpower.”

Rick Warren

“As so many people in the Bible did, tell God exactly how you feel.”

Rick Warren
